A while back we were asked to take an standard 16:9 flatty animation and put it into a 360° space. Rather than just place the video in front of the viewer we were able to incorporate the visuals with the space. Which helps make a more immersive experience.
For the launch of their new phones the IDOL4 and IDOL4s - Alcatel called upon us to create two 360° experiences featuring Giovani dos Santos of the LA Galaxy and Jordan Morris of the Seattle Sounders. Each experience took viewers on the field where the players were playing a game a pick-up, having fun and showing off their skills.

UPDATE: We were thrilled to find out the booths at the games were a huge success and we just shipped updated experiences for the IDOL 5s.
This year for Dell World Top360 pitched the idea of creating 3 different 360° videos with interactive hot spots within each experience. We created an experience for Dell's Ocean Plastic recycling program, Solar Powered Computer Learning Labs, and T-Gen Genome Research. We filmed in Malibu, Bogota and Arizona to capture each 360° video. Then we built a custom Samsung Gear VR app in which a viewer could choose one of the three experiences. Within each experience we included interactive hot spots, which viewers could select, to watch additional content on each initiative. In early Spring Top360 was approached by NanaWall to film a custom home featuring their unique sliding walls that offer indoor/outdoor living. The 360° film puts the viewer in the home with the realtor and up close with the NanaWall. This gives the viewer an immersive experience of the scale, functionality and beauty of the indoor/outdoor living that a NanaWall provides . For final delivery we created a custom app for NanaWall to take their 360° experience to trade shows and clients via the Samsung Gear VR.
Last month we were approached by Keen to film some 360° footage of their flagship store in downtown Portland. We were thrilled to head on down and get totally immersed in all that is Keen. Not only was it a blast, but we learned a lot about how Keen helps the community and the environment.
